I DO RESCUE AND ADOPTION.

I do OSPCA work when they need me and I do individual adoption and rescue.

I often get calls from people wanting to place their horses and ponies.. Some are sound, some are not. I give you the low down on everything. A NO SELL contract is signed and should the new family not be able to keep the animals they can return them to me no problem.

Horse presently for adoption.

Rye: Adopted

Rye 12 yr old Thoroughbred. This boy is amazing. We have him going and he's forward but kind. He obviously doesnt have much experience over fences, but hes willing to learn. He will be an amazing partner for someone.

Then and now!

Willow: ADOPTED

Willow the brown one is 19 but  still in good shape, she taught children and adults how to ride and is very quiet, she had her teeth floated in Oct, and wormed, she has her feet trimmed every 8 wks. Willow is a Thoroughbred as well, these horses are in good shape now and they need good feed, especially Willow, she is a little hardeer to keep weight on. they both have winter blankets

- Look like she has a home.

THREE COOKIES:

ADOPTED

This beautiful TB mare is to die for. She has been raced very hard and has rather significant racing osceletts. However, by GOD knows how she is sound. She trots out with zero shortening of the stride. Beautiful mare with presence. Will be fine for light riding and breeding. Comes with registration (non-racing) and a NO-Sell contract.

CARL:

ADOPTED

Carl is an SPCA Rescue. He came to the farm on March 8, 2013. He stands approximately 14 hands. He's a pure Passo Fino however we do not have his papers. Carl was born in 2003 . He is a very good boy, however he loves to tug on clothing and ball caps he is not trying to bite.

FONZIE -

Fonzie is a beautiful red chestnut also born in 2003. This young man is gelded and looking for his new home. Both Fonzie and Carl are green but have great disposition. Both have gone through terrible abuse. Not only in this last home but the one previous. So lets stop their abuse cycle. He is now in good weight and going under saddle.. although green he tries very hard. He does have trust issues, so when new rider starts him, he must be given a chance to adapt to new surroundings and people.

Still looking for home, would like someone with experience and he would do better in a one horse home. He get too attached to other horses.

MARINA

This old girls is a world class champion. She has won so much and now just wants a good retirement. She is 27 years old and is a solid citizen. 1986 granddaughter of Hilachas and Brillante Negro. This lady come from Alberta and abusive situation there and again found herself in another bad spot. Who will give this little lady her last home.

Libby Beans - adopted.

Libby is a 3 year old pony which needs a home. She sweet but has no education. She's a cute chesnut pony mare stands abour 11.3 hands tall. Would look fancy under harness.

SPCA BUDDY

ADOPTED

I'm pretty sur buddy is a morgan or morgan cross. This little guys is incredible. He comes from a terrible circumstance. He's approximately 7 years old and has lived in a box stall tied up for his entire life. He has had his feet done now for the last 6 weeks. We had to saw them off with a saw. He is now gelded as well. He now lives outside with a few other horses and learning horsey language and also his muscles and ligaments are figuring out things for themselves. He has an incredible temperament and I would love to see him in his forever home. He still walks stiffly but am assured by both vet and blacksmith that this will change as he gets in more condition. I can see him being a driving horse.

FIRE

ADOPTED

Is a beautiful 6 year old 13 hand pony. She was purchased by a friend at auction about 5 years ago and she was already traumatized. They thought she was ready to start under saddle. She is not and at this point costs being what they are I encouraged them to place her in a home with someone who wants a backyard animal who may or may not eventually be rideable. At this point.. she is very nervous (after almost 5 months of training). She bridles, saddles, lunges like a pro, doesn't have a mean bone in her body. Will even allow us to sit on her but the second you move game over. She explodes. The owners had hoped that she would make a great kids pony. She is the sweatest thing on the ground, doesn't kick or bite. So if you are up to a challenge contact me. She goes with a NO SALE contract and return to me clause. Because of her temperament we do not want her to go from pillar to post.
